Making beeswax wrap is really simple and it didn’t even get as messy as I thought it would. Besides, it’s a great substitute for tin or plastic foil and an excellent way to upcycle your fabric scraps. It might be a bit more work to clean the wax wrap (use mild soap and lukewarm water), but still it is so satisfying to be able to reuse the wrap over and over again instead of throwing it away.
I tried different methods of melting the wax and found out that simple ironing between two sheets of baking paper worked best, you can follow the whole process in my video below. So, get some wax at your local beekeeper or look for the vegan options (soy or carnauba wax) and have lots of fun!
